As part of the Erasmus+ project WBNET, the sixth project meeting of the consortium partners was held at the Zvečan Department of the Academy of Vocational Studies of Kosovo and Metohija, with the participation of representatives of higher education institutions from the countries of the Western Balkans and the European Union.
During the two-day meeting, the results of the project so far, activities within the work packages, issues of quality, dissemination and sustainability of the project results, as well as further steps in the development of short study programs and micro-qualifications were discussed. A special focus was on strengthening cooperation between the academic community and the economy through the development of practically oriented education programs.
The participants visited the laboratories of the Department in Zvečan and got acquainted with the teaching and technical facilities used for practical teaching and professional training.
Project partners also visited important cultural and historical heritage sites in Kosovo and Metohija, further contributing to networking, intercultural exchange, and strengthening cooperation among consortium members.
The event was covered in the media by Television Most, and a report on the meeting was broadcast in the prime-time program, which further improved the visibility of project activities and results.
