From May 6th to 10th, 2024, Kütahya Dumlupınar University in Turkey hosted the 2nd International Staff Training Week under the theme “Digitalization and EU-Funding Projects”. This conference attracted representatives from 17 European universities. Professors Atif Hodžić and Emir Mujić from the University of Bihać participated as representatives and showcased active EU projects undertaken by their institution. Notably, they presented the Erasmus+ project titled “Network of Centers for Regional Short Study Programs in the Countries of the Western Balkans-WBNET”, which garnered significant interest among the attendees.
WBNET project presentation aroused great interest among the participants of the conference as something new that is being introduced into the Bologna system of lifelong learning, so we had to answer questions starting with whether it is a cyclical education, what are the competencies and titles acquired, the Credit point system, legal regulations and current practice with short study programs.
