Within the WBNET Erasmus+ project, Akademija strukovnih studija kosovsko-metohijska (AASKM) officially launched short training programs in the fields of digital business, internet security, and the application of modern multimedia tools. The programs are designed to enhance digital competencies and provide participants with practical knowledge and skills aligned with the needs of the modern labour market.
The WBNET project places a strong focus on the development of short study programs, introduction of micro-credentials, and strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and industry through the exchange of knowledge and good practices among partners from the Western Balkans and the European Union.
During the opening ceremony, representatives of the Academy, project team, and Erasmus+ office highlighted the importance of education modernization, development of professional competencies, and stronger alignment between education and the needs of the digital society.
In the first cycle, 20 participants were enrolled in each training program. The courses will be delivered through a combined model including online lectures, practical training, and professional practice, with the involvement of academic staff and industry experts. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certificates of completed training.
